Pharr/Reynosa International Bridge


imagePharr-Reynosa International Bridge serves as one of the most important ports of entry for the US-Mexico border and connects U.S. 281 to the city of Reynosa, Mexico.

Just 10 miles south of Pharr, Reynosa is a thriving industrial community serviced by four major highways with an international airport, network of rail systems and intermodal terminals.

Coined the “The Intelligent Bridge” due to its state-of-the-art technology utilizing Gamma Rays and the Fast And Secure Trade program, known as FAST. This allows for an expedited inspection of documents and cargo, and provides fast crossing time.

Car crossings for the total Fiscal Year of 2005-2006 was, 1,716,751 and total truck crossings for the same Fiscal Year were 404,103 totaling, 2,120,854.
