Pharr continues to commit to the endless efforts of beautify and rejuvenate its communities and parks within its city.
Our department is proud to showcase our more recent accomplishment, the renovation of the Victor Garcia Municipal Park located on 205 W. Polk Street. This park is a little over seven acres and construction was completed in July, 2004. The improvements to this unique and charming park includes a multi-purpose park gazebo, a meandering seven foot wide (1/4 of a mile) crushed granite walking trail, a 40 foot wide multi-purpose park gazebo, over 70 Live Oaks, Cedar Elm, and Fantex Ash Trees, tropical landscaping, playground equipment, and barbeque facilities for the entire family.
